Development of an Attitude Adjustment Crawler Chassis for Combine Harvester and Experiment of Adaptive Leveling System

Body tilt is typically unavoidable for agricultural vehicles or platforms when operated over tough terrain in production, and, therefore, it not possible to guarantee the operation performance. Current leveling methods mainly focus on wheeled adjustment single working parts rather than vehicle body, and few of them could be applied crawler vehicles. The objective this research was put forward an adaptive system combine harvesters based development a new four-point lifting adjustable chassis. principle proposed mechanism studied basis analysis characteristics under multiple posture conditions RecurDyn environment. design relies combination attitude detection calculation driving hydraulic cylinders according established mathematical models. Within designed extent (including range height 0–87.8 mm, lateral inclination ±3.98° longitudinal ?2.9–5.2°), performance then tested separately. experiment showed that achieve automatic with accuracy ±0.4° provide technical support
